Welcome
Primary election day was amazing. We started the morning with sign waving and ended the evening with a large, county-wide gathering of friends and supporters to watch the election results at Norma's @ I-5. We are now the front-runner in this race. We could not have done this without you and we thank each of you.
But now we must focus on the General Election.
It is heartening to Liz and me to see that so many of our fellow citizens do care about County government and the future of our communities.
I agree. Having lived most of my life in Thurston County, my wife, Liz, and I feel our community is the best place to raise our four children.
Serving as your Thurston County Treasurer is one way I can help our community continue as a quality place to live, work and raise a family.
I will bring my private sector financial experience to the Treasurer’s office, working for all citizens with great integrity, honesty and efficiency. While technically a partisan elected office, I view my role as a non-partisan official, working for the good of Thurston County and her residents.
My education and business experience have prepared me to bring innovation and efficiency to the financial sector of our local government.
The Treasurer’s role is to maintain public trust. The public should know the county’s money is in good hands. The office has been well run and has a talented staff. My goal as County Treasurer is to build upon those successes. I will be sharing my ideas during the course of this campaign.
If elected, I will work with all county departments, school districts, fire districts and other local entities who utilize county services. I will be a consensus builder.
First, we need to win this campaign. With your advice, counsel and support, we will. You have my commitment that I will work hard on the campaign trail and will wage our campaign with highest level of integrity.
